TODAY

Currently a Visual and Media Arts major with a double minor in Business Studies and Entrepreneurial Studies at renowned film school Emerson College, I have worked as a makeup artist on over 20 film sets in the past year. While many are in post production, they will be added over time. These projects include four Bachelor of Fine Arts films, as well as being the Assistant Key Hair/Makeup Artist for the EVVY Awards for two consecutive years.

BACKGROUND

I got my start in makeup five years ago through my work with Paxton School for Disabilities. Located in northern Virginia, the school organized a yearly haunted house, Shocktober where I worked as a lead special effects makeup artist and actor. I designed, applied, and even taught special effects there. In addition, in 2015 I was blessed with winning the Cappie Award for Best Makeup, which is 70 schools in Washington, D.C, Maryland, and Virginia that compete in what can best be described as "the Tony's of high school." I accepted the award at the Kennedy Center in D.C in front of 2,300 people on live television. In my senior year I was nominated again for my work on The Wiz and was even asked to do the makeup for an independent film, Renegade.

SERVICES

Use the "Contact Me" section below to send me an email with a script or treatment for the project you're working on, as well as a detailed description of what makeup the project will entail. I am able to provide almost all of my own supplies, and am a member of several distributor sites and can easily find the most cost-effective materials for whatever we'd need. Hourly rate and reimbursement for supplies varies project to project based on difficulty and prep time involved. I am able to do realistic injuries and ailments, aging, trauma, character creation, and if I haven't done it, often I am able to learn how OR find a way to if it is an uncommon request.
